About Me:
I pursued an M.S. in Higher Education from Florida State University because my experiences in KPL made me realize I enjoy working in a college setting, helping students (especially first-generation college students) thrive and succeed!
Currently, I work as an undergraduate student recruiter at UIUC
Most of my time is spent nurturing and cuddling my two dogs: Charley (4) & Milo (2)
I'm obsessed with binge-watching TV; right now I'm watching Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ -- it's the most wholesome show ever!
Why Kappa Phi Lambda?
Back then, the "why" was: I wanted a sisterhood where I could be myself. Looking back, the network and professional development opportunities were definitely a great outcome, too! As a first-generation college graduate and immigrant, many of the travel opportunities I experienced were thanks to KPL -- and I met some really cool people along the way!
Other Achievements:
I included some of these in the "positions held". Definitely proud of participating in the 2014 Convention Committee. :) Not KPL-related, but I was an MFOS-recipient and was on a full scholarship at UF. My senior year, during the MGC Banquet, we won an educational program award for the 2014 Become Strong(her), so that was something to be proud of -- additionally, the year I was director (spring 2015) was the first time we had Panhellenic sorority attendance at the event, so that rocked! We also had our first keynote: our very own alum, the amazing amazing Victoria Chan (now Victoria Chan-Frazier) from Syracuse. I was also probably one of the FEW sisters if not only sister to be a Resident Assistant (RA) between Fall 2012 and Spring 2014. I also studied abroad in Summer 2014. I was involved with the Filipino Student Association on the multimedia committee and helped make some cool videos. I also served with Sparks Magazine on their multimedia committee for a bit. I also was lucky enough to attend the 2013 Gatorship.

About Me:
My biggest life aspiration is to live a happy and fulfilled life. Fun fact about me is I studied French for 12 years.
Why KPL?
KPL was my home away from home. The sisterhood (that continues way beyond college), and memories bring me back to some of the best years of my life.
